El futuro del trabajo

Abstract

[ES] El mundo laboral sufre cambios de forma constante e inevitable. Las transformaciones a las que nos estamos enfrentando recientemente de tipo tecnológico no retrocederán. Tanto empresas como trabajadores deben adaptarse a la nueva realidad de la digitalización, que tomó impulso con la pandemia de la Covid-19 y ha ido acelerando a una velocidad sin precedentes. Para conseguir que el mundo laboral no se vea arrollado por este hecho es necesario identificar las habilidades y competencias que serán requeridas en futuros trabajos. De la misma manera, conocer los nuevos modelos de organización del trabajo y las tendencias que se están empleando en los puestos de trabajo es esencial con el propósito estar lo más óptimamente preparados posible para ser un país con empresas, tanto públicas como privadas, capaces de competir en el mercado global. Los ciudadanos españoles han de ser conscientes de la proximidad de este futuro laboral y tener la voluntad de connaturalizarse con las tecnologías digitales que pasarán a ser uno más en las organizaciones.

[EN] The world of work is constantly and inevitably changing. The recent technological transformations we are facing will not be reversed. Both companies and workers must adapt to the new reality of digitalisation, which gained a new impetus with the Covid-19 pandemic and has been accelerating at an unprecedented speed. To ensure that the world of work is not overwhelmed by this fact, it is necessary to identify the skills and competencies that will be required in future jobs. Likewise, knowledge of the new models of work organisation and the trends that are being employed in the workplace is essential in order to be as optimally prepared as possible to be a country with companies, both public and private, capable of competing in the global market. Spanish citizens must be aware of the proximity of this working future and have the will to become familiar with the digital technologies that will become part of the organisations.
