La biblioteca de la Fundación Rafael Chirbes: Anotaciones y marcas de lectura

Abstract

[ES] Los más de siete mil libros de la Fundación Rafael Chirbes, radicada en la casa de Beniarbeig (Alicante) en la que el escritor pasó los últimos quince años de su vida, contienen abundantes anotaciones, marcas, subrayados y comentarios. En este artículo se establece una primera tipología de estos textos que aportan novedades sobre la personalidad, el proceso creativo y la fecunda intertextualidad de las obras literarias, ensayísticas y periodísticas del autor. Con ello se pretende atraer también la atención de diferentes especialistas para que evalúen los hábitos de lectura de Chirbes por épocas, períodos, autores, disciplinas, temáticas, asuntos, motivos, etc.

[EN] The more than seven thousand books in the Rafael Chirbes Foundation, located in the house in Beniarbeig (Alicante) where the writer spent the last fifteen years of his life, contain abundant notes, marks, underlining and comments. This article establishes a first study of these phenomena that provide new information about the personality, the creative process and the fruitful intertextuality of the author’s literary works, essays and journalistic texts. It is also intended to attract the attention of different specialists so that they may further investigate the reading habits of Chirbes by periods, authors, disciplines, themes, issues, motives, etc.
