Estudio comparativo de la biología y ecología de diferentes grupos de insectos eusociales (Hymenoptera e Isoptera)

Abstract

[ES] La entomofauna eusocial es una de las formas más complejas de vida, en la que encontramos nidos formados por conjunto de individuos de decenas a miles de individuos, que trabajan y viven de manera organizada y de la forma más eficiente posible por el bien de la colonia. En estas sociedades de artrópodos todos dependen de todos. En esta revisión bibliográfica se pretende dar a conocer la forma en la que se forman, organizan y viven los insectos con sociedades más complejas, los insectos eusociales, pertenecientes a los órdenes Hymenoptera e Isoptera. En primer lugar, se definirá la organización eusocial y posteriormente veremos que especies la componen. Así mismo, se darán a conocer relaciones interespecíficas e intraespecíficas, ejemplo de ello pueden ser las feromonas o la danza de las abejas. El estudio comparado de estas sociedades nos permitirá intuir el origen evolutivo de estos comportamientos, su papel fundamental en el entorno en el que viven y lo distintas que son. Aún tenemos mucho por descubrir sobre lo que ocurre dentro de estas colonias y más aún, conocer como dan lugar a los comportamientos. Hay todavía un gran desconocimiento sobre estos insectos, mayor aún en el caso de las termitas.

[EN] The eusocial entomofauna forms part of one of the most complex ways of life, in which we can found nest formed by groups from ten to thousands of individuals working and living together organized and in the most possible efficient way in order to reach the good of the colony. In this type of arthropods’ societies every single individual depends of the rest. In this bibliographic revision is intended to introduce the way the most complex insects’ colonies are built, organized and how them live, the ones included on orders Hymenoptera and Isoptera. At the first time, eusocial organizations will be defined and later we will see the species which form part of that. Moreover, interspecific and intraspecific relationships will be exhibited, pheromones and bee-dance are examples of that. The comparative study of this societies will allow us to know intuitively the evolutive origin of this behaviors, the essential work of them in the environment where them live and how different they are. There is a lot undiscovered knowledge yet, about what happens inside of the colonies and, over all, how the behaviors take place. There are a lot of ignorance about these insects yet, bigger in the case of the termites.
