Uso de Google Classroom como plataforma educativa en estudios universitarios

Abstract

[ES] El auge de la sociedad del conocimiento unido a la introducción de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación (TIC) y de las herramientas digitales en el Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior (EEES) ha conllevado que el Learning Management System (LMS) se haya convertido en la pieza angular del blearning. Por todo ello y con el objetivo de dar respuesta a la pregunta de investigación, ¿es Google Classroom una herramienta educativa adecuada en la universidad? En este artículo se describe una experiencia de innovación docente basada en el diseño, desarrollo e implementación de las sesiones instruccionales de una asignatura básica de segundo curso del grado de Maestro en Educación Primaria a través de la herramienta Google Classroom. Al mismo tiempo, se presentan las conclusiones, se discuten las implicaciones conceptuales, metodológicas y actitudinales y se plantean posibles líneas de investigación futura.

[EN] The rise of the knowledge society coupled with the introduction of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and digital tools in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) has meant that the Learning Management System (LMS) has become the cornerstone of b-learning. For all these reasons and in order to answer the research question; is Google Classroom an adequate educational tool at the university? This article describes a teaching innovation experience based on the design, development and implementation of the instructional sessions of a basic second-year subject of the Master in Primary Education degree through the Google Classroom tool. At the same time, the conclusions are presented, the conceptual, methodological and attitudinal implications are discussed and possible lines of future research are proposed.
