This systemhas been tested in a real situation, in the city council of Coahuila, Mexico, in November 2008. During theauditing, several things were kept in mind, in particular those critical in complex contexts, as democraticelection processes are. The auditing process is divided into three main complementary stages: analysis ofvoting protocol, analysis of polling station hardware elements, and analysis of the software involved. Eachstage contains several items which have to be analyzed at low level with the aim to detect and resolve possiblesecurity problems PB IGI Global YR 2014 FD 2014-01-09 LK http://hdl.handle.net/10612/3142 UL http://hdl.handle.net/10612/3142 NO International Journal of E-Services and Mobile Applications, 2011, 3(3) NO P. 16-30 DS BULERIA.
