Sector de componentes de automoción en España. Análisis del período 2019-2021

Abstract

[ES] La industria del automóvil es una pieza clave en la economía mundial, tanto por su volumen de negocio, como por el número de empleos que proporciona. En España, la automoción ha tenido una enorme importancia desde mediados del siglo XX, especialmente debido al fuerte crecimiento del sector de componentes, el cual ha permitido situar al país como un referente dentro de esta industria auxiliar. Con la realización de este trabajo se busca ahondar en los aspectos claves del sector de componentes, analizando sus orígenes, su evolución y poniendo de manifiesto su importancia, tanto dentro de la industria como en España. Para ampliar el estudio de este subsector, realizaré un análisis económico-financiero de las empresas que operan en España, y apoyándome en varias técnicas estadísticas, se podrán observar las diferencias y similitudes que aparecen durante el período 2019-2021, fuertemente marcado por las crisis, lo que me permitirá conocer el impacto de estas en el sector.

[EN] The automotive industry is a key part of the world economy, both in terms of turnover and the number of jobs it provides. In Spain, the automotive industry has been of enormous importance since the mid-20th century, especially due to the strong growth of the components sector, which has allowed the country to become a reference within this auxiliary industry. The aim of this work is to look into the key aspects of the components sector, analysing its origins, its evolution and highlighting its importance, both within the industry and in Spain. To extend the study of this sub-sector, I will carry out an economic and financial analysis of the companies operating in Spain, and using various statistical techniques, it will be possible to observe the differences and similarities that appear during the period 2019-2021, strongly marked by the crises, which will allow me to know the impact of these on the sector.
