Relación entre el clima motivacional percibido y la categoría competitiva en el fútbol femenino de Castilla y León

Abstract

[ES] El fútbol femenino va adquiriendo cada vez más importancia en nuestra sociedad y de ahí el interés de su estudio. El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar las orientaciones de meta y el clima motivacional percibido y comparar las diferencias existentes en función de la categoría competitiva en futbol femenino senior. Para ello se empleó una muestra de 41 jugadoras femeninas pertenecientes a tres clubes de fútbol de Castilla y León de tres categorías distintas (1ª Regional Fútbol sala y Fútbol 11, y 2ª Nacional Fútbol 11), con edades comprendidas entre 15 y 29 años, a las cuáles se les administraron el Cuestionario de Orientación a la Tarea y al Ego de Duda y Nicholls, (1989) y el Cuestionario de Clima Motivacional Percibido en el Deporte de Newton, Duda y Yin, (2000). Los resultados revelan que en todas las categorías aparecen valores más elevados en la orientación a la tarea que al ego, por lo que las jugadoras dan mucha más importancia al esfuerzo personal que a la obtención de resultados. Por otro lado, las jugadoras percibieron un mayor clima de implicación hacia la tarea que al ego, aunque en este caso, en la categoría de 2ª Nacional Fútbol 11, aparecen valores más elevados en el clima de implicación al ego, lo cual puede estar relacionado con tener un nivel competitivo mayor.

[EN] Women's football is becoming increasingly important in our society, hence the interest in studying it.. The aim of this work is to analyze the goal orientations and the perceived motivational climate and to compare the existing differences depending on the competitive category in senior women's soccer. For this purpose, a sample of 41 female players belonging to three football clubs in Castilla y León from three different categories (1st Regional Indoor Football and Football 11, and 2nd National Football 11), aged between 15 and 29 years, were administered the Task and Ego Orientation Questionnaire by Duda and Nicholls, (1989) and the Perceived Motivational Climate in Sport Questionnaire by Newton, Duda and Yin, (2000). The results reveal that in all categories there are higher values of task orientation than ego orientation, so that the players give much more importance to personal effort than to obtaining results. On the other hand, the players perceived a greater climate of involvement towards the task than to the ego, although in this case, in the category of 2nd National Football 11, higher values appear in the climate of involvement to the ego, which may be related to having a higher competitive level.
