Resumen
本文旨在研究“天下”这一概念,该术
语意义之广泛,在西方政治哲学语言中或可
与“帝国”相平行。对这一概念的研究有助
于使用中国自己的政治语言去理解中国的历
史。“天下”概念不仅仅在中国范围内起到
了天子政权合法化的作用,在东亚圈内,
还使政治内化代替土地扩张成为可能的思想
观念。“天”作为理解中国古代权利的核心
概念,由于其可以有多种诠释,它不仅能以
上天之神的身份赐予天子相应土地的统治权
利,更由于其神圣性和伦理性,要求统治者
有“德”并且要好好施行、运用其权力,方
可得以维持其统治地位。本文希望通过本文
分析,对“天下”概念作为中国政治合法化
理论起源与发展进行探究。
The concept “Tianxia” (All-under-Heaven) could be a parallel concept of the “Empire” in the West, which also allows a better understanding of the Chinese history with its own political language. This concept not only serves to legitimize the dominion of the Tianzi (Son of God Heaven) in China, but also makes possible a political internalization instead of the territorial expansion in the East Asian area. The “Heaven” (or Sky) is fundamental to understand the revolution of power in Ancient China, with the various
meanings in which it has been interpreted. This is finally recognized as the supreme god, that the Tianzi inherited and obtained dominion over the corresponding earth. However, with the divine and ethical nature of Heaven, the dominator is required to have the virtue and good execution of power to keep the authorization in hand. With this text, the origin and the main development of the Tianxia system are revealed as the legitimizing regime of Chinese politics.
