Abstract

This document contains ‘The Discussion Section in Essence’ Poem [Poema ‘La Esencia del Apartado de la Discusión’]. It was composed by Ana I. Moreno to recommend novel RA authors write their discussion section as if talking to their peers about the meaning of their results to their discipline and about the value of their research. The poem was inspired by the findings she obtained for English in her genre-based English-Spanish cross-cultural study of empirical RA discussion (and/or other closing) sections across a variety of disciplinary fields.
