Diálogo entre feminismo y marxismo: viejos y nuevos debates en torno al sujeto político

Abstract

[ES] El debate sobre las identidades y el sujeto político feminista no es nuevo. Comprender que los avances de los feminismos se construyen sobre tensiones y rupturas es necesario para construir alianzas que nos permitan seguir avanzando en la agenda feminista. La epistemología marxista y sus categorías de análisis se mostraron insuficientes para comprender las opresiones específicas que vivían las mujeres. Asimismo, el sujeto político “mujer” mostró sus limitaciones cuando se pusieron de relieve, dentro de él, todas las posibles identidades a las que daba lugar. Desde entonces, las potencialidades de la colectividad feminista han coexistido con el temor a dividir el sujeto político. Este artículo pretende acercar los debates históricos para reflexionar en torno a ellos sobre los nuevos y viejos desafíos.

[EN] The debate on identities and the feminist political subject is not new. Understanding that the advances of feminisms are built on tensions and ruptures is necessary to build alliances that allow us to continue advancing the feminist agenda. Marxist epistemology and its categories of analysis proved insufficient to understand the specific oppressions that women experienced. Likewise, the political subject “woman”showed its limitations when all the possible identities to which it gave rise were highlighted within it. Since then, the potentialities of the feminist community have coexisted with the fear of dividing the political subject. This article aims to bring the historical debates closer to reflect on them on the new and old challenges.
