Maternidades e pandemia no Brasil: um olhar sobre os sentidos de maternagem nas mídias online

Abstract

[PT] Este texto busca analisar, a partir de 8 matérias, as práticas sociais de maternagem e as representações de maternidade produzidas pelos discursos das mídias onlineno Brasil, no contexto da pandemia de COVID-19. Partimos da abordagem teórico-metodológica da Análise de Discurso Crítica, na perspectiva de Fairclough (2016) e utilizamos a categoria analítica de intertextualidade. Por meio das palavras-chave “mãe” e “pandemia”, identificamos as seguintes posições de sujeito-mãe no discurso das mídias online: a) mães superpoderosas; b) mães trabalhadoras e; c) mães exaustas.

[EN] This text seeks to analyze, from 8 subjects, the social practices of mothering and the representations of motherhood produced by online media discourses in Brazil, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. We start from the theoretical-methodological approach of Critical Discourse Analysis, from the perspective of Fairclough (2016) and use the analytical category of intertextuality. Through the keywords “mother” and “pandemic”, we identified the following subject-mother positions in the discourse of online media: a) super-powerful mothers; b) working mothers and; c) exhausted mothers.
