La relación laboral especial del servicio del hogar familiar

Abstract

[ES] El presente trabajo aborda la relación laboral especial del servicio del hogar desde dos puntos clave: por un lado, desde un punto de vista histórico, mediante el estudio de la evolución de esta relación laboral desde sus inicios en la antigüedad, a través del tratamiento de los acontecimientos sociales y jurídicos más significativos en esta materia y las posteriores modificaciones que han construido la relación laboral del servicio del hogar que se conoce en la actualidad; por otro, descendiendo al tratamiento jurídico y la legislación laboral aplicable actualmente, prestando especial atención a las nuevas modificaciones introducidas en los últimos años, que aportan claridad y esperanza hacia la consecución de una regulación efectiva para los trabajadores del hogar.

[EN] This paper looks at the special employment relationship of domestic service from two main perspectives. On the one hand, from a historical point of view, it deals with the evolution of this employment relationship from its beginnings in antiquity, through the study of the most significant social and legal events in this area and the subsequent modifications that have constructed the employment relationship in domestic service as it is known today. On the other hand, a complete study of the applicable labour legislation is carried out, with special mention of the new modifications introduced in recent years, which contribute to the development of the labour relationship in the domestic service sector.
