The initiative we propose is included in the First Library Week, celebrated in the library of the Humanities School, in the University of Leon, on November 3-6, 2015. One of the activities we carried out during that week was “The library is colourful. Drawing and painting with Lolo” and it consisted in a very famous artist of our city called Lolo with the collaboration of some students of the School, who decorated the walls of the library with multicolor paintings about relevant characters of literature, history, arts and the humanities in Spain. Quevedo, Góngora, El Quijote, Lorca are some of the well-known people that nowadays, the library of the Humanities School shows to the users. We want the students to take part in our activities again, choosing some painted character, they take a selfie with some of them and make a performance or show about that character. The main goals of that project are: bring the library closer the users another way, more different and funnier in order for the users to increase the view and feel the library like something else than a place to study; communicate new contents more anecdotal and not so academic; announce the nice paintings by a very famous artist in Leon, his implication in this project has been important
