Organochlorine pesticides still exist as pollutants in countries like Spain, despite the limit which was put on their use more than ten years ago. These compounds are highly persistent and they are capable of spreading stuck to dust and rain particles. The purpose of the present study is to give sorne data on the levels of organochiorine pesticides in infusion plants (black tea, camomile and linden). These infusion plants are taken by a lot of people, of different ages and social classes, so it is important to know the risk that their consumption supposes to health.
