Post-fire effect assessment and mapping in a very fragmented and diverse landscape is crucial to prioritize management actions, mainly when fires are very numerous and disperse. The processing protocol should be affordable and operational, in order to be applied when management decisions were required by the administration. The consistency and quality of the results in linked to the image processing stages to adress image radiometry, normalization, and computation of the spectral indices.
