Three periods of study were established according to the frequency of EEG use in Consumer neuroscience. The first of these periods, 2002-2011, corresponds to the first decade in which we see the initial acceptance of EEG technology in the field. In the second period, 2018-2021, the use of EEG experiences a growth phase, and during the third period, 2018-2021, we see a boom in the use of EEG in Consumer neuroscience studies.
