Objeciones Feministas a la Ley para la igualdad real y efectiva de las personas trans y para la garantía de los derechos de las personas LGTBI

Abstract

[ES] La redacción de la Ley Trans se realizó sin contar con el asesoramiento o la opinión experta de asociaciones feministas pese al indudable impacto en las mujeres que esta ley comportará a raíz de su implantación. El movimiento feminista se vio limitado a aportar los argumentos que sustentan su oposición a este proyecto legislativo en la fase de participación pública, como el resto de la ciudadanía; sin que ni una sola de las objeciones formuladas fuera recogida en el texto sometido al Congreso en su sesión del 22 de diciembre de 2022. Este artículo sintetiza en un único documento las principales objeciones feministas al Proyecto de Ley, fundamentalmente aunque no solo, en base a las razones esgrimidas por las asociaciones y partidos políticos feministas más significados en su oposición a este proyecto legislativo.

[EN] The drafting of the “Trans Law”was carried out without consulting or obtaining the expert opinion of feminist associations, despite the unquestionable impact on women that this law will have once it is implemented. The feminist movement only provided the arguments supporting its opposition to this legislative project during the public participation phase, like the rest of the public; not a single one of the objections raised was taken up in the text submitted to the Congress in its session of 22 December 2022. This article summarizes in a single document the main feminist objections to the Bill, mainly but not only, based on the reasons put forward by the most significant feminist associations and political parties in their opposition to this proposed piece of legislation.
