Abstract

[ES] Este artículo propone la observación de las similitudes en la aplicación del concepto de Joseph Nye en el desarrollo de las estrategias diplomáticas de España y China, estableciendo un eje temporal entre ambos países y utilizando las premisas básicas formuladas por Stephan Keukeleire en su definición de diplomacia estructural. Los paralelismos cronológicos entre ambos países nos llevan a observar logros similares en su evolución e implicación diplomática, con el fin último de configurar los principios básicos de la sociedad internacional con su vocación de influencia a largo plazo. Por tanto, se convirtieron en actores estatales que aseguran la estabilidad y el multilateralismo del sistema a partir de las transformaciones internas que se han venido realizando desde la década de 1980.

[EN] This article proposes the observation of the similarities in the application of the concept of Joseph Nye in the development of diplomatic strategies of Spain and China, establishing a time axis between both countries and using basic premises formulated by Stephan Keukeleire in his definition of structural diplomacy. The chronological parallels between the two countries lead us to observe similar achievements in their evolution and diplomatic involvement, with the ultimate goal of configuring the basic principles of international society with their vocation for long-term influence. Therefore, they became State actors that ensure the stability and multilateralism of the system based on the internal transformations that have been conducted since the 1980s.

[ZH] 本文按照时间顺序，结合斯蒂芬·库克雷在定义结构外交时提出的基本前提，考 察约瑟夫·奈的软实力概念在西班牙和中国外交战略中发挥的相似作用。这些相似性让我们 看到两国外交活动中取得的相似成就，及其使两国在国际社会中保持长期的影响力。研究发 现，中西两国在1980年代以来进行的国内改革的基础上，都采用了稳定政策和多边主义政 策。
