Abstract
[EN] Jose Maria Eguren is the first modern poet of Peru. Many critics have tried to decipher the depth and
complexity of their verses, but the reception by critics and readers of the early twentieth century was
not too benevolent. Thanks to the work of many authors such as E. Núñez, R. Silva Santisteban, X. Abril,
etc., little by little the mystery of Eguren is revealed. With this article we want to help you better understand the poetry of this great autor. We propose a new perspective in the analysis of Eguren´s poetry
based on the synthesis in many aspects of the Peruvian poet, that is, as the reduction that gives greater
consistency and makes the parts thicher, concentrating the dispersed and increasing it in intensity.
