AB [EN] The application of cybernetics to sport is based on two fundamentalpremises: logical organization of training and adaptation of loads to thereal needs of the athlete at any given time. Thus, the aim is to achieveefficient selection of weightlifting exercises by means of an algorithmbased on technical efficiency indexes, making it possible to undertakeappropriate adjustments in the selection of exercises in accordance withthe performance of weightlifters in a number of the most importantweightlifting exercises. The cybernetic model described may be auseful tool for establishing which exercises are most necessary for agiven weightlifter
