Abstract

[ES] Los trabajadores autónomos o por cuenta propia son considerados unos agentes esenciales e imprescindibles dentro del sistema económico, al tener una alta capacidad para generar empleo y valor. En la actualidad, en España, hay más de tres millones de trabajadores autónomos, representando un alto porcentaje respecto al número de trabajadores en total. Sin embargo, es notable la diferencia existente entre el número de hombres y mujeres encuadrados dentro de esta categoría de trabajadores, siendo la cifra de los hombres casi el doble que la de mujeres. Por ello, resulta oportuno hacer una amplia comparativa teniendo en cuenta diferentes años y diversos factores. Además, es importante conocer el régimen especial al que van a estar afiliados, las ciertas peculiaridades existentes a la hora de cumplir con las obligaciones y responsabilidades fiscales, así como las posibles ayudas o medidas, tanto generales como específicas para mujeres, que les serán de aplicación, siempre y cuando cumplan los correspondientes requisitos.

[EN] Self-employed or independent workers are considered essential and indispensable agents within the economic system, as they have a high capacity to generate employment and value. Currently, in Spain, there are over three million self-employed workers, representing a significant percentage in relation to the total number of workers. However, there is a notable difference between the number of men and women classified as self-employed, with the number of men being almost twice as high as that of women. Therefore, it is opportune to conduct a comprehensive comparison taking into account different years and various factors. In addition, it is important to understand the special regime to which they will be affiliated, the specific peculiarities when fulfilling tax obligations and responsibilities, as well as the possible general or specific aids or measures that will apply to women, provided they meet the corresponding requirements.
