Maternidade como construção sócio-histórica

Abstract

[PT] A pesquisa em foco reflete a concepção de maternidade a partir da construção social veiculada ao instinto inato a todas as mulheres. Assim, foi realizada uma varredura na literatura de modo a construir discussões expressas pelas categorias desenvolvidas pelo feminismo materialista francês à luz da produção/reprodução social da existência proposta por Christine Delphy, bem como realizou-se uma pesquisa de natureza teórico-conceitual, a partir de análises das categorias: patriarcado, divisão sexual do trabalho, constructo social, cultural da maternidade, familismo tendo como autoras centrais: Badinter, Biroli, Pinto, Campos. Dentre os resultados mais significativos da pesquisa evidenciou-se como se sedimentam os estereótipos de gênero que compreendem a mulher enquanto mãe, restrita ao ambiente doméstico, privado enquanto o homem pertencente à esfera pública.

[EN] The research in focus reflects the conception of motherhood from the social construction conveyed to the innate instinct of all women. Thus, a survey of the literature was carried out in order to build discussions expressed by the categories developed by French materialist feminism in the light of the social production/reproduction of existence proposed by Christine Delphy, as well as a theoretical-conceptual research, based on analysis of the categories: patriarchy, sexual division of labor, social, cultural construct of motherhood, familism having as central authors: Badinter, Biroli, Pinto, Campos. Among the most significant results of the research, it was evident how the gender stereotypes that understand the woman as mother, restrictedto the domestic environment, and private while the man belongs to the public sphere.
