La inteligencia artificial en el reclutamiento

Abstract

[ES] En el transcurso del tiempo, el ser humano se ha visto obligado a adaptarse a abundantes cambios protagonizados por la tecnología y, no es novedad que siempre ha temido lo ignorado; más aún cuando conlleva un cambio en su conducta o mentalidad. En la actualidad, la responsable del cambio y del miedo generado es la Inteligencia Artificial (IA), compuesta por algoritmos y va de la mano del Big Data, ya que se teme que su introducción y puesta en marcha genere pérdidas de trabajo. Parte de culpa de este miedo generalizado la tiene la ciencia ficción, donde se nos muestra en numerosas ocasiones que en un futuro el hombre se verá superado por las máquinas; debido a que estas pueden estar trabajando gratuitamente, sin descanso, siendo esto más barato, eficiente y sin error, debido a su total eficacia. Pero nada más lejos de la realidad, la Inteligencia Artificial ha llegado para quedarse y no se debe temer sino poner el foco en su gestión e inclusión en la sociedad, adaptando los procesos que esta tecnología puede traer a la rutina y al trabajo.

[EN] Over the course of time, human beings have been forced to adapt to numerous changes brought about by technology, and it is no news that they have always feared the unknown; even more so when it entails a change in their behaviour or mentality. At present, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is responsible for the change and the fear it has generated. It is made up of algorithms and goes hand in hand with Big Data, as it is feared that its introduction and implementation will lead to job losses. Part of the blame for this widespread fear lies in science fiction, where we are shown on numerous occasions that in the future man will be surpassed by machines; because these can be working for free, without rest, being cheaper, more efficient and without error, due to their total efficiency. But nothing could be further from the truth, Artificial Intelligence is here to stay and we should not fear it, but rather focus on its management and inclusion in society, adapting the processes that this technology can bring to our routine and work.
