Resumen
[EN] This report examines the potential impact of divergent national consumer rights to information provision and early withdrawal on the willingness and ability of suppliers and consumers to sell or buy financial products by means of the Internet or other similar means of distance selling. The project evaluates how Directive 2002/65/EC has to date been incorporated into national law, how the different options have been applied by national legislators and which other comparable information rights and duties, arising under existing autonomous national law, have created overlapping or additional barriers to cross-border transactions beyond the scope of the applicable EU regulations.
