dc.description.abstract | [EN] Recently opened the twelfth century, in the western Mediterranean coincide two religious reformers who oppose the relaxed lifestyle that Christians and Muslims had then: Bernard of Clairvaux and Ibn Tumart. Both of them preached a faith that sought of the soul redemption through the purity and simplicity, thus rejecting the materiality superfluous. This had a reflection in the architecture, best preserved in Cistercian monasteries, but hardly in Almohads buildings. So, with this research proposal will be leave granted bases for later make a parallelism between both reforms and see how these ideas spiritual are expressed architecturally both in their origins and in their arrived to Hispania and Al-Andalus. | es_ES |
