san Fructuoso y san Valerio.
| es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | [EN] The register of documents known as Tumbo viejo from the monastery of San Pedro de Montes has been the main source of
study to find out how the monastery, through its scriptorium, created a clear definition of the cenobitic institution, of its identity;
a definition of its location, its patron saints, relics, the example and memory of its distinguished monks: Saint Fructuosus and
Saint Valerius. This is noticed fundamentally through the protocol formulas in the first part of its diplomas. They were inherited
formulas, but conformed to a reality of documentary transmission in the monastery. They evolved from the High Middle Ages to
the thirteenth century, when the aforementioned cartulary was compiled. | es_ES |
