[EN] GosSOS, a pun between gossos (dogs in Catalan) and S.O.S, is a campaign carried out by the advertising agency Ogilvy Barcelona, conscientious about social causes. The action is limited to placing concrete dogs in the city of Barcelona, tied and abandoned, although street marketing and the dissemination of information itself are given through a QR code on the plaque of these statues.
The main objective of this campaign is to reduce the rate of abandonment of pets and to promote the adoption of these animals, thereby raising awareness of the importance that this problem requires. The target is the entire population, but particularly people who already have pets, making them aware of the problem and also pointing to those willing to adopt pets.
