AB [EN] This study proposes an approach that focuses on the development of certain iconographic repertories to study the visual impact that Islamic textiles had in the 11th century. The influence of these items, in fact, is made evident in the assimilation of their iconographic motifs in other Mediterranean realms, which even reproduced them on the most monumental and representative architectural works as shown by some of the most luxurious courts of al-Andalus.
