Thispaper aims to contribute to the literature investigating country-level characteristicsthat influence the magnitude of firm CSP based on the framework of the antecedentsof green innovation. By conducting a cross-lagged analysis of more than 370European B Corps—a growing form of social enterprise, this paper investigates howfirm CSP is impacted by the regulatory framework, the technological capacity, andthe demand pressures of the country in which it is embedded. Our findings supportthat the presence of technological and innovation capacities and of demanding, con-scious customers are the two most important country-level factors impacting CSP.Results bespoke of the importance to develop a policy approach that supports thedevelopment of technological skills at the firm's level and the awareness at thedemand level, rather than emphasizing a stricter regulation PB Wiley SN 0968-0802 LK https://hdl.handle.net/10612/18775 UL https://hdl.handle.net/10612/18775 NO Alonso‐Martínez, D., de Marchi, V., y di Maria, E.
