[EN] Over the years, teleworking has become an increasingly important modality for organizations. Since it began to be implemented for the first time in 1973, its use has been progressively increasing, especially since the arrival of the Covid-19 pandemic. This revolution in the way of working has meant an important challenge in the way of managing human resources, for the implications it has for both the company and its employees. Therefore, the objective of this work is to analyze the concept, evolution and variants of teleworking, in order to deepen the benefits and challenges that it involves and its impact on aspects such as the mental health or well -being of the workers. To check if the theoretical aspects studied have their reflection in reality, a questionnaire has been disseminated among working people. The results corroborate what postulates the theory, revealing that in general, the percentage of teleworking over the total hours worked is inversely related to mental health and labor well -being. This allows us to conclude that this work modality usually provides benefits when it is carried out partially, as a couple of days a week, but on the contrary it can be harmful to mental health when it comes to a full -time teleworking model.
